24th August 2005 Windsurfing: Schellinkhout, Iijesslemeer Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: chopy Air Temperature: 17C Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells and showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: After a trip to Enkhuizen and a relaxing canal boat trip I went back for an evening session. Al and Jules were going to sail but it was a bit too much so back to the 6.4m for me and another good session planing across the bay. Quite a change from the morning session when I had the place to myself, this time there were about 30 kites and 20-30 windurfers in the water making it pretty busy. The locals were friendly and most spoke English too. Another good powered up session with my fitness put to the test and my hands were starting to get a bit raw :-) |
